UNIQUE APPROACH TO HISTORY CONTROVERSIALLY HELPS LEVEL AMERICAS SOCIAL, FINANCIAL
AND EDUCATIONAL PLAYING FIELDS
Despite what you were taught in your Social Studies, American and World History classes, We Ain't
No Niggas! The history education administered in public and private schools was (and still is) unjustifiably skewed. It focused on
the negative aspects of African and African American history and positive aspects of European and European American history.
This approach to history has consequently cast a semi-permanent shadow of inferiority over black people; psychologically constricting
the expectation of African-American success and magnifying the expectation of African-American failure. The grotesque imbalance
in history is a primary culprit of the social, financial and educational gaps in our society today.
Public and private school
curriculums mislead students to believe Africans and African Americans were ignorant, simple-minded, un-human, cannibalistic savages
wandering the jungles of Africa and laboring in American fields. This same curriculum teaches that Europeans and European Americans
were distinguished, intelligent, beings of humanity who developed modern civilization and should be honored with the utmost respect.
This lethal combination of historical manipulation is a massive hindrance in achieving true equality among fellow Americans and severely
hampers the African American's effectiveness in forwarding their culture.
We Ain't No Niggas! vividly displays history from
the African American perspective to adjust the perception and expectation of black people. The text begins by freely guiding readers
through mental exercises to logically prove the imbalance in the history of white and black people. The controversial presentation
of very embarrassing negative facets of European history combined with a wide range of little-known positive aspects of African history
balances the historical perception of Africans and Europeans. The thorough documentation of what was not taught is what gives the
reader a true and full history necessary to level America's social, financial and educational playing fields.
